Secure Logiq launches ‘Around the Equator’ Challenge

Crawley, UK… Secure Logiq is inviting its team, partners and industry peers to take on a big one: travelling 40,075 kilometres (the full circumference of the Earth) together.

Launching on 14th February and running until 10th May, the Around the Equator Challenge encourages participants to walk, run, cycle or row their way around the globe, with every kilometre contributing to a shared total. People can join at any point, because every step still counts.

Using the Big Team Challenge platform, activity can be synced automatically from devices including Apple Watch, Garmin and smartphone health apps. For anything else, distances can be logged manually using the app’s built-in conversion tools -meaning everything from gym sessions to more unexpected activities can be added to the tally.

The aim is simple: reach 40,075 km as a collective. But beyond the headline number, it’s about creating a bit of momentum. Teams can form their own groups, track their progress on live leaderboards and bring a competitive edge to the challenge, with all activity feeding into the overall global target.

Ben Yoxall of Secure Logiq said: “The Around the Equator Challenge is about more than just steps. It’s about bringing people together, encouraging wellbeing and injecting a bit of healthy competition across our teams and partners. There’s something powerful about working towards a shared goal – especially one this ambitious. We’re hoping to see teams really lean into it and push each other along the way.”

With the challenge launching on Valentine’s Day, Secure Logiq is encouraging participants to show a little love to their own wellbeing – whether that means chasing a personal best, building new habits or simply getting moving more often.

Participants can register at https://securelogiq.bigteamchallenge.com and share their progress using #AroundTheEquatorChallenge.
